Anybody with a trust been tempted to buy one as an individual, get the quick transfer and then transfer it to their trust after the fact?

It would make more sense to me if trust wait times were a year instead of a month, or if I didn't already have a few suppressors and wanted one now. I guess there's no guarantee of a fast transfer either, but individuals have been getting them quicker on average.

Tempted, but at the end of the day waiting 1 month isn't too bad.

I did my latest transfer as an individual instead of a trust, figured I'd rather wait a few days than a month. And once I have it in hand I can always transfer it to a trust for $0 now and the wait time at that point is meaningless.

That is exactly what I plan to do on my most recent purchase.

Unless it gets approved today, tomorrow will be 1 week filed as an individual.

Just for convenience of not needing to get everything together from everybody on the trust, I just buy most of them as an individual and transfer several to my trust when it’s convenient. Especially in this world of $0 transfers, it’s just easier that way with the plus that I get my suppressors quicker.

Interesting, thanks for the responses. I wondered how much it was happening. I filled out paper form 1's back in the day, but nothing lately to know what it's like now.

I guess I'm just weighing getting one a couple weeks versus another round of paperwork.

You just have to file new form 4s naming the trust.

I think so.
They charge $60 per item.
You just send them pics of the top copy of your form 4s

Then they fill everything out.
Then they just send you an online Docusign.
Then they send everything in for you.

I’ve bought other things thru them and my trust was calls well.

But there charging money.

Maybe the fee was higher if it wasn’t there trust.
