New Year supressor wait times?

I have 2 in jail from 1/1/26. Curious on approval times. It took a long time just to get my forms submitted.

I have one buddy that had his approved in ~30 hours. Another wasn’t even able to get through on eforms until last night.

I have two going through and I’m just going in expecting it to take 4-6 months. Really curious to see how it all plays out though.

Both my eforms that were submitted Jan 2nd just got approved. I was expecting a longer wait.

Had one submitted on 1/1 that was approved on 1/5

I’ve got 3 sitting at my sot tried twice last week but couldn’t even get thru to get them
Submitted. Maybe tomorrow maybe next week let it calm down some

Thread 'NFA Approval after January 1'

I know there was a lot of speculation with extended wait times being possible due to a surge of applications on Jan 1. My application was submitted after hours on the 1st, and approved this morning.

While I wish suppressors weren’t NFA regulated anymore, it’s a breathe of fresh air to see the speed of approvals continue to be reasonable.

Started the process with Silencer Central 12-4-25, seemed to take a long time for them mailing the fingerprint cards to me. Cards arrived at my house on 12-15-25, mailed them back the same day. Received notification from Silencer Central on 12-26-25 that everything was ready to submit, of course that was during the blackout period. Made calls to them for the certification on Saturday Jan 2nd, Monday 5th, and Tuesday 6th result of calls was error submitting to the ATF. Wait times on the calls to talk to a person was from 1 to 1.5 hours, was number 137 on the first call on Saturday called in the afternoon. Was number 117 on Tuesday at 8:05 central time. Called right at 8am on Wednesday started at number 22, paperwork successfully submitted to ATF. Now to see how long until it is approved. Will update when that happens.
