It’s sitting at the shop been to busy to get down and finish the paperwork to start over it took them forever to get the replacement to the shop

As of right now it looks like silenco will be destroying my old can and sending a new one to my ffl they gave me the option of a new harvester or a omega at cost so it would be another 280 bucks they will not pay for my tax stamp due to the fact is was using hand loads in it when it failed they admitted that it was a failure in the can that was their fault and i was told I should feel lucky that they are even replacing it due to the fact the manual that comes with it says shooting hand loads voids all warranty

I was curious about this since you don't see this often with other manufacturers. I ran this by an expert and friend of mine. He states that Aluminum cans are only meant for 22LR and 9mm, not rifle calibers and that the shell is too thin for that kind of work.

It is unfortunate that Silencerco will not take of this completely. If you, the OP, wish to learn about a really good company, just send me a private message and I can get you in touch with the a company that makes the best suppressers in the nation.
