SUPER Cold weather boot?

As I've gotten older, my feet have lost their ability to endure long, cold days on stand. Last year I wore the Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 400's in temps down to -20. This year in temps around 20, they are freezing! Any suggestions on a good boot other than a huge pac boot would be greatly appreciated!!

Ice breaker boot blankets and handwarmers tossed in.

Put them on when feet are still warm

I have been wearing bunny boots here in frigid ND for 25 years. I am an evangelist of these boots. Contrary to the comment above I find them exceptionally comfortable for walking and sitting. They are heavy and not a lot of bottom grip however. When walking frozen lakes or rivers I put cleats on them. Usually available cheap on ebay. White are warmer and more flexible. Black are great most of the time. Be sure you get the real version with air valve from Bata and other makers. Available in all sizes and widths. The inner sealed liner construction isolates the insulation from moisture and perspiration. I once went through a shallow river to my knees at 10 degrees. I sat down rang out my merino socks and went hunting. Feet are warm when wet since insulation is dry.

Another North Dakota vote for "Bunny Boots"...I have the Black one's and the White one's as well. Wear the White one's below zero and the Black one's above zero. I do a ton of coyote and deer hunting in the winter here in temps WAY below zero. Whether I'm hiking or sitting, I'm sporting Bunny Boots in the winter up here. I love them for snow shoeing as well.

They are vapor barrier type boots with a thick layer of wool between 2 layers of rubber, the insulation can't get wet.

Ah, gotcha. They just didn't look like much looking at them. So what is the air valve for then?

Gotcha once again. I hate when my boots blow up in flight :D Makes sense though from a military application.

Bunny boots for me too. I chose Bata brand years ago based on my research then.

Thanks for all of the advice guys. I'm snagging a set of bunny boots. If they don't work, I'll just cut my feet off.

Canadian military mukluks... Four years in the Yukon, temps down to 50 below, never got cold feet. Just fine in Fairbanks. Little warm for Anchorage unless there was a bit of a cold snap..

I am no longer a fan of the Bunny Boots. I have been using them for over 20 years but as I got older they were not quite cutting it. After researching I am also going to go with Mukluks. Bunny boots are cheaper, probably the best for the money but I need something better. For the record, other than traction and weight, I also didnt mind walking in them. Overall, they are a good boot but I need something warmer!
