Suggestions for packs

Hey all, just looking for some insight on packs for 4+ day backcountry hunts for deer. What volume and setup are people running?

Most frequent answer are going to be Kifaru and EXO. I’ve tried both (as well as Mystery Ranch and KUIU) and highly prefer my EXO K4.

Sounds like you’re just getting started so I’m assuming your gear is probably not super dialed in so you’ll want to opt for the larger size in whatever pack you get…6000+ cubic inches.

You can be 6# or under with a pack that doubles as a meat hauler in the 4500cuin plus range. A little bigger pack doesn't hurt you much weight wise.

EXO, Stone Glacier, Mystery Ranch, Kifaru are popular- I like the EXO.

Exo K3 4800. It’s been great for me on everything from day hunts to 3-5 day backpack hunts. Packed out a few animals with it and it’s been great! The K4’s upgrades do look nice though…

I always go with 5,500 cubic inch external-frame framepack.
