First Mule Deer Hunt - Gear Recommendations

Quality boots, quality socks, a good, lightweight tripod, and good binos (with a way to attach them to the tripod). My spotter hardly ever leaves my truck. I run 12x binos, and can see everything I need to see just fine. For a starting point, Google search "Archery Mule Deer Gear Dump" and pick one of the hundreds of videos already online. You can also google search "backpacking first aid kit". Seems like everyone has a gear dump video for every season or situation.

Just go copy some hunting influencers “archery mule deer hunt gear list” from a YouTube video. Actual suggestion, not being snarky. I kinda wish I had done that to begin with, would have saved me money overall.

Get a storm worthy tent if you’re going up into the alpine, ultralight sounds nice until you’re in a hail storm.
What he said. Drew my first tag for NM Mule deer this year and we are going this September. Amongst all of the research and podcast listening I've done here is the link to the gear list I've followed. I didn't buy the same brand as this guys list, but it made a great guideline to follow!

I went with Mystic ranch for the backpack.
