Suggested Weatherby Vanguard Mods

I was suggested to purchase a vanguard 2 as a good budget rifle. Went with .300 win and a nice vortex scope. I would like to add a muzzlebreak and some other custom options to it. Is there a budget route to do this!

What other options are you looking at? The S2 factory trigger can be adjusted quite easily.

I'm going to be investing in a bipod, muzzle break I think. Open to others. Im a "one rifle" type of guy so just trying to build one to use for everything. Kinda what I was thinking going with the .300 win. Thing kicks like a mule.

If you dont need smooth lines, a witt machine clamp on brake is a good option, i have them on 3 of my rifles, one on a vanguard

Get it glass bedded and and trigger job done for sure!

It's fairly easy and straightforward to glass and pillar bed a rifle like the Vanguard yourself. For a muzzle brake, all you really need is for a gunsmith to thread your barrel. Unless you want a blended brake, there are many great options out there for brakes. APA and Precision Armament are two that come to mind. What other custom modifications are you looking to make?

Free floating mine made it a .5 MOA rifle.
