But, that doesn't address the issue. We are talking about consistent error that increases the depression of the system by stacking on top of everything else, and people in this thread are talking about 700 yards shots in examples.
For hitting a target of a certain size, adding 0.3 mil (why switch between mil and MOA in the discussion) of error at 200 yards is meaningfully different than adding 0.2 mil of error at 700 yards whether or not it is a 0.5 mil or 0.3 mil system. One is worth mental effort to avoid, the other still leaves an acceptable miss rate.
Put differently, one is pol vaulting over mouse turds, the other needs to be accounted for.
