Yeah, I agree. Need more details! Seems like hunters are always the ones finding a body, with as much time as I spend outside I'm always a little freaked out by the possibility

Ummm, maybe you are forgetting that Search and Rescue Volunteers find most of the bodies out there. Let's please give them some credit for how tirelessly they work on their own dime to find missing love ones.

With that said, yes, it is exciting sometimes walking off trail and then you come across something weird like this.

Wasn't trying to take anything away from them. Was more or less relating my experience where SAR isn't common. I live in Iowa.

Ummm, maybe you are forgetting that Search and Rescue Volunteers find most of the bodies out there. Let's please give them some credit for how tirelessly they work on their own dime to find missing love ones.

My buddy spotted this while we were stalking some antelope in MT. I hung out for a while as he made the final couple hundred yards on a goat, kind of surreal.

I found an old meth lab once years ago

Yeah...about that. I started to dig at the shallow end with my boot until I hit something hard. About shat myself. But it was just another log running the length of the mound. But that was enough for me and I kept on walking

Anybody who wants to find human remains should come wander the deserts along the Mexican border. I have found a couple myself. Border Patrol finds them all the time. No searching or rescuing involved...

I've ran into a meth lab on my parents property, cops ended up busting the guys running it. 'Know what they say, don't meth with Iowa.
