“Storm proof” 2p tent for a big tall guy

You should seriously consider a Scarp 1 or 2 from TarpTent. Plenty of length, and capable of handling anything you'd experience weatherwise

Too short for a guy 6'3". His feet will hit the end wall, been there done that.

I’ve spent probably 2 dozen nights with a guy that’s 6’7” in an Nallo 3 and he’s stayed dry the whole time…. Unless they’re different lengths I’d have to disagree.

He can have at it. In a Nallo 2 if you're over 6ft your feet are hitting the end of the tent. I'll never own another one because of that sloping rear wall. He's gotta be sleeping offset in any Nallo not to be pushing his bag or quilt up against the end wall.

I will not disagree that I also dislike the sloping wall, as I’ve found it to be a pain in the ass for sometimes collecting water in big storms too.

However it was never enough of an issue to not use the tent, and like I said it’s been well over 20 nights for him in it, half of those in the Chugach in heavy rain.

Owning both, I do think the Skyscraper is a more comfortable tent overall but can’t recommend it myself for harsh weather yet as I’ve only got a row nights in a light November snow storm in it. I’m sure it’s a pretty bomber setup though.
