I did my due diligence I thought. In all my dealings on this Forum and 1 other, I have never been scammed. 20+ years and 100's of transactions. The only time I got scammed was in real life! Bought a stolen bow from a guy in person. A few days later the police came and took it. About a year later, I started receiving restitution checks of like 15$ until my 400$ was paid back.

I know a guy who had his bows stolen, I think a handgun? also from his vehicle.


Well, like 2 weeks latter those bows walked into his bow shop. Bought from Facebook or marketplace, can't remember.
He let the guys who bought them keep them. Got his sights, rests, stabilizers back, discounted heavily some accessories to replace them.

That was for them testifying against the guy who sold them, for stolen firearm charges.
