Has anyone converted the bottom compression strap from tri glide to a buckle like the other compression straps? I added an access bag to my solo and want to be able to strap my bow under it yet still be able to get it off fairly quick.

If anyone has another work around I would love to hear it.

Haven't done it, but thats easy to do.

You need two of these: https://www.hudson4supplies.com/plastic/2pc-repair-buckle-1-fem-sb-only-black-3064.html

The male one will go on your frame, and then you will cut the tri slide off the access bag (if you cut a notch in it like the new female buckle has, you can reinstall it later if you want). Then install the female buckle onto the access bag.

Might as well toss a couple of these on your order as well, that way you can switch the other tri slides over too.

Are these the same brand that SG uses? Do they stay on well?

I don't know if they are the exact same brand SG uses, but they are compatible and the same color. I've ordered a few for various straps and stuff and they are right on the money.

And yeah they stay on as well as anything, so no worries there!

Of course when I’m ready to buy them they are out of stock...

Does anyone know where to source the stone glacier quick detach male and female 1” buckles?

None of those will accomplish what he's looking for.

I've never ordered from this site, but they have what you are looking for..

https://milspecmonkey.com/store/har...kle.html#/45-unit_pack-1unit/26-color-foliage

And they're cheap enough that you can just order as many sets as you need for all your packs and disregard the extra male buckles.

I see options to put a male or female thru a closed loop and put a male or female on a strap....not sure what else there is for options but those options would allow me to convert to whatever I wanted to convert to.

Those two buckles would work but they come as a kit with a bunch of stuff I don’t need. I was going to just call sg and see if they could do them individually but I went with the ones cornfedkiller linked instead. I bought the last 6 they had in foliage. I was searching for the individual male and females and everyone is out of stock in foliage. But I got what I needed.

Thanks fellas.

You are correct, I didn't see those.

Personal preference, but if you aren't adding or removing it often, I prefer the ones with the split bar like I linked because they look cleaner. (and if ya wanna get real picky, the black doesnt match :ROFLMAO:)

I was doing some modifications to my stone glacier bags. Just call them. They sold me just the buckles that I wanted and that I way I knew they would match up to what was already on the bag. That might be a way to help you accomplish what you are trying to do. They have always been more than helpful to me.
