As everyone else has said Stone Glacier kicks ass! I'm looking forward to strapping skis on mine for couloir skiing come spring as well as lots of winter powder chasing this year. Best pack I have owned hands down and would pay double for it. Speaking of hip belt pulls, that was my only malfunction. Mine kept spinning on me but I prefer using the pack without them anyway, I can still crank the waist belt way way too tight

That was my issue as well. Kurt has a new solution if you are interested...

It's just a longer length pull that velcroes farther back the waist belt. I'll try to take some pics, but Kurt is always tweaking stuff and I'm not sure how far back my fix was on his evolution. ??

I have had a great deal of interaction with Kurt over the last few weeks. I can honestly tell you he is probably one of the most customer oriented individuals I have ever dealt with. You will not regret it if you decide to go in this direction. The product is outstanding and the service matches.

I installed belt pulls on big sides. Both either twist or lengthen as I pull against them. I quit trying to use them but will call Kurt and see if he can help me with a fix.
