Mine ships the day before my wife's birthday. So I told her we could open the package together. Lol. She says she will be happy so she doesn't have to hear about it anymore.

They ship out of Colorado right? That will make it a quick trip.

I am pretty sure I will be working in the Denver area the first of April, just trying to decide if I want to pay the CO sales tax or have it shipped home and avoid it.
Hmmm....will prob pay it!

crumy - haha my wife was the same way about the pack. Yes they ship from Denver. So prob a 2 day ship time for you.

OR - If your here in Denver I'd recommend trying it on here and then buying. That way you are 100% about that purchase

I stopped in at Kifaru a couple weeks ago while on a ski vacation and visiting friends. I had ordered a Bikini frame a few days before. That Bikini frame is something. First impression is it's fragile because of the light weight and the "skeletonized design". But, when you check it out you can see that it's a tough, quality built item. Same with the High Camp Bag. It's light but the feel of the material makes you think it should be heavier. If I'm not happy with the KeltyFaru (Kelty 50th bag on Bikini frame) I'll probably end up with the 7000 Highcamp bag. Mine is scheduled to ship on May 20. That should give me enough time to fit my bag to it and train with it before sheep hunting in august.

BB, what was your preferred method for hauling the "meat"? Which one seemed more convenient as well?

Been trying out a Stone Glacier Terminus, and thought I would post a couple of pics. First one is pack loaded with just under 100lbs. Second one is the pack compressed to show how small it can get. I would also add for fitting purposes. I have the curved back to an extreme. If I stand next to a wall my wife can slide her hand between my back and the wall and not touch my back with her arm. With the lumbar pad in place this pack works for my back.
