Hey fellow Roksliders, last night I had very frustrating and unfortunate thing happen. I had my pack stolen right out of my garage while I was packing it to leave for a trip this morning. I live in sleepy Durango, CO and really surprised by this. Anyways if everyone could help me keep an eye out for my gear that would be greatly appreciated it. It was a MR beartooth 80 with the top lid in coyote. Contents were a Slumberjack down bag and one man tent. A vortex diamondback spotter, sig sauer range finder, Soto cook system and a couple benchmade knives.

Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Makes me so nervous when I have all my gear later out in the living room right before a trip.

All I can do is bump your thread, good luck.

Hey man, sorry to hear about your misfortune. I have a Gregory Massif pack, about 20 years old But in excellent condition. Not been used in quite sometime. If I can donate to you to make the additional gear acquisition easier and help with your hunting season let me know. PM me if interested.

Hey guys thank you all for the best wishes I really do appreciate all the support. Unfortunately no neighbors with any cameras but after talking with a few neighbors it’s looking like a few people were hit in the last 48 hours.

Man, what a bummer. Sorry that happened. Have you filed a police report? I am not sure how things work in Durango, but if its anything like Denver, pawnshops input serial numbers of items into a database that the police use to find stolen/pawned items.

If you have Homeowners insurance, you might be able to file a claim and get some money back.

How much time do you have? Shoot me a PM. I have an MR Crewcab that needs to hunt this year. Has a medium or large belt and large shoulder harness. Yours to use if you want. I'll cover shipping.

Could put a Marshall bag on it as well. Big bag, you could use it as a tent if you need.

Dead serious. Let me know. Can also throw in a 15 degree Snugpak bag with Klymit pad as well.

I have way more gear than I need or use and it sounds like you need it and could use it.

I feel your pain.
This year Myself and another rs member had some stuff taken from our rigs this June while out scouting. My trucks ignition was pried on with some kind of tool. Another buddy had his atv ramps stolen from back of truck while out hunting two weeks ago.
I came outside mid day in June/July after watching some tv to find my mig welder and accessories scattered out in my yard leading to a fresh set of tire tracks. Garage was dummy locked as I had been back and forth from house all day. Guy got my makita da sander that I only used for one project but was unable to lift the welder so he burned off out of there.
Meth addicts, desperate for dope, bottom line!

I’ve got an old bushnell rangefinder, let me kno if I should send it your way. Won’t help u this trip but maybe the next.

That sucks man. I’ve actually discussed before how bad it would suck to lose/have stolen a loaded pack. Besides the bag and frame, add a spotter, tent, sleeping bag, binos, rangefinder, and you could be pushing $4-5k worth of stuff.

I have an extra KUIU frame and suspension along with the cargo panel I’d be happy to loan out, it sounds like others have offered as well.

We will be flying into a Denver next Saturday, and making our way out near Grand Junction, not going to be headed south though.
