hey guys, is the peak 44 worth the wait and extra money vs stockys? I have a regular stockys but not the vg so worried about grip to trigger everyone talks about. does the bastion have that issue. its alot of money difference and big wait time.

The reports of stockys stocks having inconsistent fit is what keeps me from buying one. It may or may not be a big thing but everything I’ve read on them has been like warm, not horrible but not great. The peak44 seems to be very high quality though, there’s a guy on rokslide who has several of them.

I’m personally leaning towards a peak44 and havnt been looking at stockys anymore.

I am OK running Stocky’s and dealing with the minor issues and design. Lots of my cheap buddies have them too. I have dropped most in and run with them. I also just run Sendero profile on everything, so there is that.

But, the Bastion is going on my main gun that I am getting from @NSI. You are paying for improved ergo and quality. If you want it right, get the Bastion.

Bastion all day. Better ergos, better fit and finish. I have (had) both. The Stockys is cheesy by comparison.

Bastion fit a finish is far superior to Stockys. You will need to bed the bastion recoil lug. Not so with the Stockys. If you don’t mind tinkering and carbon fiber sanding dust go Stockys. I would order both. Sell the one you’re not happy with and you won’t lose more than 10% of the cost.
