Stocky's/Rokstok thin limbsaver recoil pad

What are people's thoughts on the thin 5/8" recoil pad that Stocky's puts on many of their stocks these days? I've seen it on the Howa carbon/superlite models as well as on the Rokstock and a few others. How effective is it compared to a thicker pad?

I have only used it on a 6.5CM. Was fine there.

Changed mine out with a regular limbsaver!

It works fine. An overly squishy pad on rifles is not the way.

There have been instances of some of the rubber peeling, only 1 of my 12 or so Stockys VG/Rokstoks I’ve owned has had that issue though.

I didn’t mind the stock pad but put a limbsaver on to increase LOP.

Happen to have the model number of the limbsaver you replaced it with? I bought two off Amazon and neither one was the right fit.

I used the one for the Roughtech stock. It a a tad small along the top edge but it fits. I'll take a pic tomorrow and post.
