Stocky’s Hunter VG Tikka stock

I’ll have to look at the colors when I get home, but basically a Brownish, an FDE, and a light gray are the three colors. I used torn apart sea sponges and a matte clear over the top. Didn’t do any degreasing.

Dude, I am not knocking your rifle at all. It is badass but what color is that cerekote? Immediately made me think of 2 weeks in the mountains running on dehydrated meals. I would definitely run these colors and have a rifle that needs cerekote.

No but it’s an extremely easily remedied issue if you have an hour of spare time to put towards it.

I’m very happy with how they feel now, it’s nice to be able to sand it down until it feels perfect and then apply texture.

Weird, I don’t know. I can’t be the only person that hates calling large companies and working through phone trees (maybe stockys doesn’t have one….). Also, it seems like the people who make decisions on sale prices run their social media platforms too. Can’t help but think their interaction and participation on this thread have helped their sales.

If you email them, it's usually Kim that gets back to you. And she gets back pretty quick. By quick, I mean I had an email response in exactly one minute after asking about the backorder lead time on the stock I ordered.

I just got a NextGen purchased. Once my Tikka gets back from the gunsmith i'll take it to the range and see how it shoots. This will be my first experience with a vertical grip. Fingers crossed I wont need to modify the grip!
