@Stockys is the rokslide30 code still good? Or do we need to call to use it? I see the VG is discounted already in the shopping cart, can the rokslide30 code be stacked on that?
It can’t be stacked unfortunately. If you call or email they have honored it in the past. Kim always gets right back to me on emails@Stockys is the rokslide30 code still good? marine tex all the wayGoing to be adding onto the trigger reach on my VG soon. What’s everyone’s preferred way to add texture?
Thanks. I haven’t seen any black marine Tex, and I will be wanting to paint it black. Any type of black coat works or should I use something specific for the marine texmarine tex all the way
The “grey” marine Tex is black. I just did my stockys carbon with it and it turned out perfect. I sponged the whole stock with black krylon after I epoxied the grips. It’s actually been durable and looks great.Thanks. I haven’t seen any black marine Tex, and I will be wanting to paint it black. That stuff seems to have went up in cost. I think it used to be $30 for the trial size
Do you reinforce it?This is what I use as it is a lot lighter than marine tex or other epoxy putties. It molds and sands very well.
Do you reinforce it?
I started a muzzy with it but need to finish it next month before a hunt next year.
How’s much are you building up? 1/2” or more? No, I just scuff up the grip area really good and then mold it on, let it cure, sand it to the contour I desire and then paint it.
For mine I am doing a bit over 1/2”. On my wife’s gun, I went almost 3/4” as she has much smaller hands. How’s much are you building up? 1/2” or more?
