Sorry if this is redundant so I'll keep this simple.

I have a factory Tikka T3x, no mods. I want to upgrade the stock. Things I need are:
- fits factory barrel but will allow a future barrel upgrade
- drop in fit ideal (minimal gunsmithing okay)
- under $1k

I don't need anything flash, just a higher comb and option for ARCA. Does this exist?

Thank you in advance

I’ll vote KRG Bravo, I’d like to get a Rokstok but considering you can get a Bravo for $300 used it was a cheaper option. Added almost 2lbs, (10lb 6 oz for a TX3 super light in 6.5cm). I like the extra weight. I added the tikka grip to the factory stock but still couldn’t shoot it well. Shot it in the Bravo yesterday for the first time and with some cheap ammo put up a .80” 5 shot group. That made me a believer.

I'll dive into the RokStok. tell me more about the KRG Echo

krg bravo with aics mags

Rokstock is ridiculously overpriced for a minimal upgrade to an oem t3x lite stock. KRG Echo is a flimsy thing that competes against a $30 cheekriser addon to the oem stock. Bravo is an excellent stock but certainly adds weight. My T3X gained a pound from the factory stock. Grab the KRG arca rail or simply buy a Chinese aftermarket section that still fits for $20.

looks like the Bravo is $899 and Echo is $299. why the upcost?

I tried a Boyd's stock with thumb hole (nice looking) and it fit good with an easy drop in but I didn't like the added weight over the factory option.

Alterra arms, I will say mine is for the t3x lite barrel so it would take some sanding if I wanted a larger barrel some day but it’s a great stock!

Have you used a Rokstock?
No. Can't say it's going to ever happen when it's a $545 stock with four month wait time, and its solely interesting feature of negative comb just not of any interest to me. As it is, my T3X Lite factory stock is 28 oz, but perhaps I'm clueless and missing what makes it particularly special enough to compete price-wise with outright buying another T3X Lite rifle, or a new prefit barrel.

Yes- you are missing about everything. It’s a 32oz stock that has objectively and noticeably less reticle movement firing recoil than the KRG Bravo, that carries in the hand like a standard sporter stock. The factory stock is absolute trash for shooting comparatively.
