definitely improved because I know more country that I can count on and what country to rule out.@robby denning I think I know the answer, but do you expect the average dedicated person to see similar shooter/buck ratios? Or is this something that has improved as you got older?

The encounters were close and intense. I learned from my Dad who would make hunt plans and send me off. Connected many times and shot my biggest one at 50 yds.
I used these techniques on Whitetail and Mule deer and have taken a 150 whitey and a 185 muley in timber going slow over the years.
It’s a different game, but if they are in there you need to get stuck in and hunt like a cat!
