Staying in Ouray Co for a week. Any must see sites/activities?

Instead of a jeep I would rent a side by side. Get it dropped off at Ironton parking and go from there. Its not the cheapest, but makes all those passes really fun and you dont need to worry about traffic and passing in the narrows as much. There are some mine tours around Silverton and one outside Ouray. The via ferratta is really fun. Pretty cheap to rent the gear for the day downtown. Downstream route is more kid friendly.

From Ridgway there is the reservoir, which has nice facilities. Good for paddleboarding or fishing. Downstream of the dam is Paco park, its mostly fly fishing oriented and tough fishing from the pressure. You can also go up Owl Crk pass to silver jack res. Very pretty back there, nice hiking, some fishing.

Bear Creek Trailhead on 550 is a good hike, 1000ft vertical gain in a mile, great views and may see mulies and sheep. There is an old mine up on top as well. Wetterhorn basin trailhead is another good hike about 19 miles from the highway, all but the last 1 1/2 miles could be driven in a car, the last is really rough includes a river crossing. There are a couple of 12-13k peaks there, watched a guy run up and back in a couple of hours then do a cold plunge in then do a cold plunge in the river

Im driving past Black Canyon of the Gunnison in July with a 14' trailer. Does anyone know if I would have issues driving in and taking a look at the overlooks? I've driven past it so many times I feel I should stop this time.
You won't have any issues pulling that small trailer.

As others have mentioned. SxS from Silverton to Lake City, Gondola in Telluride and definitely go to Brown Dog Pizza. Have a fun night at Bar-D Wranglers dinner and western show just outside of Durango. Lots of good Hiking trails in the Lizard Head wilderness as well. Durango Mountain ski resort has a lot of fun stuff to do for kids. Giant zip lines in Durango. River rafting. There is so much to do you would need a few weeks and multiple trips.

I’m sure it’s already on your list, but the hot springs are really nice.

I’d also just ask for recommendations in town. The locals know great spots and sometimes the unplanned ones are the best. You can’t go wrong down there

Thanks for all the recommendations fellas!! @Jbehredt Tacos Del Gnar was amazing!! We ended up going there twice!! The Drippy Mitch was excellent but my fave was the Pork Belly! @dpat Brown Dog Pizza can't be overstated for how good it is!! And @Theringworm Maggies was great! The boys loved adding their art work to every surface they could find! The serrano buger was delicious!! Not enough trails cleared off yet for side by side fun! Definietly next time tho! The trip was a blast and wqe will be back to this area! I also lost my phone on the Silverton train ride just before we got out of Durango! A short side quest after e got back into town and I found it beside the tracks just before it slid into the river!! haha!!
