Zyrtec... and.. in your med kit, bring along an Rx for some...<goes to look at the Rx name for the nasal spray> "Azelastine HCl Nasal Spray 0.15% (205.5 mcg per spray)".

That spray for sure works at stopping your drippy nose issue. Says two per nostril, try just 1 at first.
The after taste of this stuff post nasal is not pleasant though. So don't over inhale when you spray, think "just enough to get it in there". The post-nasal drip taste kinda faintly reminds me of how it tastes when you sniff some coke and drips down back there. Real Talk. It kinda makes the area feel dry-ish afterward, which is why I say try just 1 puff per nostril at first to assess how it works for you. Sometimes 1 is fine, sometimes if you can "see" the air, probably 2.

EDIT: Even out here in the South West you still have pollen issues. It's just much less of the time. Typically as it dries out after that first rain in a long long time. One of the places I go, I'll literally lose my voice because of all the allergens in the air. If it's at that particular time/conditions where you can "see" the air.

Zyrtec plus Zantac. Excellent combination although you might get cancer.

By the time you retire you might “outgrow” your cedar allergy. I live in central Texas as well and I did outgrow mine. I use to be bleary eyed for 3 months in the winter from cedar. Now it doesn’t bother me. Didn’t do anything special. My body just finally said “enough!” I still have other allergies though.

I feel you pain. I had allergies so bad 7 years ago I was ready to suck start a pistol. Couldn’t sleep or function at all. Then my buddy told me about how he got rid of his allergies. At first I thought he was crazy but after doing what he said I maybe have 1 week a year in the spring when I have to take Zyrtec D. The link below is for a natural way that worked for me. I was super skeptical at first but I was desperate. I took two pills a day for 6 months and I was a brand new man. I couldn’t believe the difference. From what I have researched and been told it naturally balances you histamine levels. Hope this works for you. It was life changing for me.

Did it takes six months before you noticed an improvement?

I have bad allergies to tree pollen, most weed pollen, most molds, etc. The only place I’ve found in the west I am allergy free, mostly, is the NW coast. The closer to the Ocean the better. The NW coast usually has a SW or W breeze, I think that’s the ticket for me. Relatively pollen and mold spore free air.

I would have expected desert cities to be on this list.

Funny that Seattle is #6 on the list.

I live just outside and it literally snows cottonwood in the summer and people are complaining about allergies 24/7 from March to October.

I moved from #4 to #2 and my allergies were not any better.

Some of us are just intolerant of allergens.

Look into the sub lingual drops.

My allergies are gone and now I'm just intolerant of idiots.

It honestly depends on the person and what allergens they are sensitive to. I would recommend going to an allergist. They can give you a panel of allergens that you are sensitive to, and then you would know which parts of the country would be better for you.

Don't think I'd want to know. With my luck they would recommend a four square block area in downtown Boston.

I wish this was true. My brain fights sleep so much. Dephenhydramine helps. But my brain still fights it. Alcohol for me acts in the opposite way. After drinking, I can't sleep for quite a while afterward. It sucks.

Ambien is freaking awesome though. But.. unfortunately you do end up building tolerance to it though a lot quicker than you'd think. Which is unfortunate because it gives you the best sleep ever.

In the beginning though? Man.. when it says don't take until you are IN the bed, they mean it!

Like if you take it when you're at your terminal... there's a very good chance you'll wake up... hours later... with food wrappers or plates and bowl around your desk, that you don't remember bringing there... and you just might have made some responses to others on social media where you weren't holding your tongue as well as usual. And... you just might have ordered something online you've been considering for a while. Also you likely binge-watched multiple episodes of a show you're currently digging on... but you can't remember watching.. at least until you begin re-watching them and then parts and pieces come back of remembering watching.

P.S. for Shits and Giggles, try googling to see what Ambien is made from! You can't find it online!

Back before modern drugs were available "the Sault" as its called was a hot bed of really bad hay fever survivors.

It was one of the few places in the country you could live allergy free. Long story short the majority of the air comes right off of Lake Superior making in Pollen, dust, ect. free....

Snorting coke, i would think that would help for sure!
