Chasing goats is definitely a blast!!! One of my favorite animals to pursue with the stickbow!

A little late on the Mitten comments but I’d like to throw in my two cents. He was having a tough year in Utah? a few years back and drove overnight to hunt with me after a recommendation from Peter Iacavazzi and another mutual friend. He had no clue who I was and being new to the trad world I really didn’t know who he was either. Even though I was a complete neophyte to traditional hunting, he treated me like an old friend, didn’t laugh when I was offering up my fledgling advice on how to kill elk with a stick bow and took a genuine interest in my life outside of hunting. After several days of absolutely horrible hunting he was still extremely grateful I was taking him into one of my spots. I hope he continues to motivate and educate all new and old hunters who are lucky enough to cross paths with him.
