Thinking about picking one up. Anyone have one that they carry?

I have a threaded p and cs.

Also, considering a platypus.

I just find myself wanting to shoot a 1911 style gun when I go to the range more than striker fired.

How much does the comp add blast vs better recoil pulse.

It helps with muzzle rise noticeably. Blast isn’t terrible, but the slide velocity and spring is so weak, it’s definitely a range only thing.

Can’t say I would want to own something that spendy as a range only toy. May just stick with my P and take a harder look at the stealth platypus.

Why is that?

Because due to 9mm and heavy 1911 slide, adding the comp further reduces the required spring weight that can cycle the gun. Thumb pressure alone while shooting can and will stop the slide.
