I hunted with my wife for several years. She had never hunted before, but enjoyed it and took a couple caribou, packed out a moose for me, and generally we had fun. I married her because I like spending time with her, so hunting together was just an extension of that. Two babies put a halt to hunting trips together for a while, but the youngest is almost old enough to stay with somebody else for a few days, and I'm hoping we can get out for a short trip or two this year. She want's a moose pretty bad, and I want to see her do it.
She doesn't care for long multi-day foul weather grinds, but otherwise keeps up with me just fine. It's not exactly the same experience as hunting by myself or with a buddy, but I'm perfectly ok with that and she is a preferred partner for me.
