I have a cheap Burris. It is 20 years old and came with a Burris scope I bought. It’s not worth setting up at the range. Looking for something better. It will be used at the range only. What magnification range do you suggest and what brand/model? Keep it under $600. I can spend more, but I’m not buying the best of the best top dollar rig for something that is only used at range sessions maybe 15 times a year max. Currently looking at Vortex Diamondback, Leupold SX-2 Alpine and Athlon Argos. I was able to look through them at a store. My eyes are not great. All three seemed about the same to me. All were 20-60 power.

Thank you for that info but I’m a “try it before I buy it” guy. If I could find a local place that has one, I would check it out.
