Agreed. However, I only intend to use these for PRS22/NRL22 range spotting, not hunting, so the weight isn't really an issue. It's just another piece of gear to throw into my range cart. For my hunting style and environment, 8x binos are plenty.

How do the ZeroTech’s compare to Vortex Kaibab?

I haven't looked through them side by side to provide any meaningful comparison.

The ZeroTechs arrived yesterday. Other than it being an open box (thanks OpticsPlanet), they look pretty decent. I admittedly don't have anything else really to compare them to though. Hopefully they work out for my intended purpose, if not they'll be up for sale here at some point.
