Spotting Scope: Leupold Golden Ring HD or Vortex Razor HD?

Yes, ANOTHER spotting scope thread. Sorry!!

I have about $800 worth of Cabela's points saved up and I'm thinking about putting them toward a new spotting scope. The 2 mentioned above are about the best I can do financially right now. Which one do you think is the better system? Or is it really worth it to wait and spend twice as much on a Swaro? If I do that it will take me about another year to get enough points to make it affordable.

What are your thoughts? Thanks!

My 2 cents would be save a little more for the cabelas euro HD which is essentially a meopta. I own the Meopta S2 HD with wide angle and absolutely love it. (Meopta is also who makes the Nightforce spotter so I have heard). That being said the Gold Ring is a pretty good spotter from my research.

I've been really happy with my razor HD. I tested all of them . It was a toss up between the HD and the cabalas mentioned above. Compared to a swaro , there is something for sure a little less clear but not worth the extra money to me. I went with the vortex due to the comfort, clarity and warranty.
