I've got some boots with the fabric eyelets coming loose. My first thought was to glue it all together and see how it holds. But then someone suggested I stitch it together. I researched a bit and found out about the Speedy Stitcher. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

They are legit and easy to use. Got one a few years back and have made or repaired lots of hunting gear (and random household items) with it. And I’m not a crafty person or seamstress by any means.

I have at least 45 years of experience with Speedy stitchers. Things are really funtional tools. I have sewn lots of leather repairs everything from tool pouches ,horse gear ,boots etc. We used them to make dog harnesses when I was a kid. Pleasantly surprised they are unchanged and still in business/available.

I have one and have only used it a handful of times...Holster modification.
It's neat piece of kit.
Mine came with light colored thread...You will want to get some black heavy waxed cotton or synthetic thread.
Michaels, Hobby Lobby and other craft stores carry them.
