South Dakota draw results

Would be great if they ran all of the draws same day.
I had analysis paralysis trying to decide what seasons to apply for; ended up just throwing in for East River with my buddy that wants to get back into deer hunting.
It's going to be really interesting looking at the numbers of applicants and their point counts once all the first draw info is posted. A lot of people who are used to getting tags easily are a little out of sorts lately with the tag reductions and elimination of multiple counties' doe harvest from mentor/youth/muzzleloader/rifle seasons.

Custer and Refuge have drawn so far today. Lots of pissed off unsuccessful Custer applicants complaining on facebook just like every other year. :sneaky:

Whitetail I'm assuming? Looks like an increase of 100 non resident applicants over last year and 200 over 2024. Eliminating does as an option for that tag hasn't scared off NR applicants it appears.
Yeah there’s definitely been too much media on it, sucks to watch it start to walk away. I just got hit for WR too, still doesn’t show in the account though.

That's crazy....I remember living there in the mid-90's and you could basically buy as many tags OTC as you wanted (resident)...has the deer population crashed that badly?
