A 25 pound 6 BR or GT is a pleasure to shoot, terror to carry. Building a 6 Creedmoor that should be 9ish with optic/suppressor now.

I've got a CO elk hunt planned later this year, but I've been thinking about trying to do a long weekend Whiteail pack-in/pack-out camp style hunt for bow season here to give the gear a test run.

I'm still kind of new to the state. Do you know of anywhere I could try that? I don't mind driving a few hours. I think I've heard some guys do this in the national forests.
