My wife is pretty excited to use her new Sous vide.
We smoked a huge 49 lb turkey this weekend so we wouldn't have to on Christmas day. It took about 9 hrs.
The plan was to warm up part of it today for Christmas dinner. She was thinking the oven but I didn't tell her I had a different plan until she opened it.
She used her new Sous vide and everyone said it was amazing turkey. We just cut up some of the breast and put in a bag and set the cooker at 140 for 45 min. It was so moist almost like raw meat.

She's already planning meals for it and researching.

Thanks for the pointers everyone

Where do you get a 49 lb turkey? Did you sous vide in a hot tub?
I'll try and make a long storey short.
4h kid grew 5 and sold largest one at the fair auction. She didn't sell it for enough to pay expenses on all 5. She was in the red $150
I purchased 2 of the other for $150 to help her out. We fed them for a few more months and finally butchered them. We ended up with a 49 and 39 lb turkey.
Brined the big one for 4 days and put in the smoker on Sunday. Took all meat off the carcass and reheated some today for Christmas dinner.
Will feed our family of 5 many more meals on the rest.
Each half of the breast was almost 13 lbs of cooked meat.
