Some cardio ideas after foot surgery

I have a minor foot surgery coming up later this month that will have me in a surgical boot for two weeks and probably babying it another two after that. Looking for some ideas to somewhat keep up on cardio for those four weeks. I have a treadmill, elliptical, cable weight machine, and a small bench with some free weights.

If you can get access to one, I'd recommend a rowing workout on a concept rower, or a similar machine. It would get you off your feet, and shouldn't put much stress or load in your recovering foot. Rowing is among the best of the cardio activities that you can do. Some of the machines I have used are pretty generous in terms of space for your foot to fit into.

Water jogging is about the most boring thing ever but it got me through several injuries over the years.

Just make sure you aren’t going to easy, when I would do it, I’d never wear the belt and id do intervals like 30 on/30 off. Rehabbed both a knee and an ankle that way.
