My solar panel also has storage. It collects light all day and charges the phone or the go pro batteries while I sleep. It weighs 8 oz. and measures 7.5" x 6" x 1/4" and has a chunkier portion on the back about the size of a small Anker battery pack. It is 3000 mAh. My wife found it a couple of Christmas's ago. Don't know the brand name. It has worked great for me.

Looked at our purchase history and found it. It is the Ivation backpack high efficiency solar phone charger in portable silicone case. It helps that I'm in NM. The Anker is great, but unnecessary for most of my trips.

This is what I was talking about in my earlier post.

In my experience, I don't take a solar panel without a battery pack. Trying to charge a cell phone, iPad, whatever, directly from the the solar panel doesn't really work long term.

So, I clip the solar panel to my pack and charge the battery pack during the day and then use the battery pack to charge the phone or whatever.
