Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend some soft-shell hoodies? I'm looking for something that is highly breathable and comfortable like a regular cotton hoody, but that has the softshell to provide some wind and water resistance outdoors.

Any thoughts?

Thanks guys and God bless,

Adam

I don't know of a hoody, exactly, but some of the puffy jackets out there fit that bill. How much will you be using it in late winter?

Well I'm really thinking of using it like I do a cotton hoody, except that the increase in wind-resistance will allow me to forfeit another layer on top of that when coming in and out of doors working or the like. Abrasion resistance is another big feature of the soft-shells pulling me that direction.

Not really a hunting related question, I know, but I figured you guys here would be up one some of these newer fabrics.

My windpro hoody from wild things is the best I've used, love it. The only time I don't have it hunting is when I'm backpacking and my superdown is in the pack because I expect the temps to be really cold.

Luke and Becca rok the Rokslide performance fleece hoodies and I believe they are very happy with them. I will get one as some as the Rokaslide store is working again. I'm sure Luke would be happy to chime in.
