Darn tough for me, I used to wear the lightweights for early season in Salomon Quest 4Ds but I've recently switched to just wearing the midweight full cushion year round with my Nevadas, I like having the extra cushion and my feet sweat in the lightweights regardless.
I really like darn toughs, but I recently tried out some Minus33 and I think they compete with darn tough, just need to see if they last through the season. They don't have the same warranty as darn tough, but for darn tough you have to account for the shipping to send them back into account.
DT light weight for early warm weather. I also run the mid to heavy weight cushion for mid to late season rifle seasons (adjust accordingly). Hard to beat DT. No slipping, durable, keeps the cool/warm, lifetime warranty. I've got about 8-9 pairs of DT used in combo with Crispi Laponia III, Colorado GT II, and Lowa Tibet (late season).
