Every time time you turn on your phone and computer you are constantly being pinged by WiFi in stores and homes you walk or drive past , when you walk through airports, train stations, govt buildings etc. happens even when your phone is turned off. All that location data is constantly being collected . Plus through Facebook, yahoo, google, espn, your smart tv, Instagram, nytimes, sitka, home security systems, your cars satellite radio, baby monitors, onyxmaps, rockslide, Twitter lWalmart, Ford, nbc etc etc etc. your gps coordinates of your honey holes would be child’s play if they wanted

If someone has your name , address or phone number they know everything about you and your movements, family, kids, Your movement, whom you talked to, what you said, what you bought, if you cheated on your spouse, every item you purchased, your porn preferences etc

All your info is monetized constantly.

I dunno about OnX, but I can guarantee you Google maps...and their search engine saves everything.
