And the TRUTH sometimes rears its ugly head!

It IS all about the benjamins now aint it!

If you didn't know that already, that's on you. I don't view under armour like I would a FL kryptek, Kuiu Sitka, etc.

Go to their website and you will see hunting is but a fraction of what they do,they are a corporation and only care about maximizing profits for their share holders.I doubt they could care less about hunters or conservation unless it helps the brand make $$$
That's just big business.

Which brings the question back around to this: As hunters, should we care? Will the perceived boycott have any real affect on the UA Hunt division. And, does the UA Hint division care about a boycott or perceived boycott?

It's not shocking that they acted the way they did. I don't think it will affect UA in the slightest. I wish we could know for sure but UA hunting division has to be minuscule compared to the rest of their divisions, They were going to do what is best for UA. If they felt supporting this guy would gain them more money through hunters then they would have done that, obviously they felt getting rid of him was the better deal.

Them dropping him will not stop me from purchasing under armour work out gear. Their hunting clothes are kinda shitty and overpriced anyway.

Their dropping them does not effect me one way or the other, it's thier business decision. Thier pointed reasoning stating it was unethical did affect me.

If they had simply stated Bowmars video content is not the face of UA we want then cool, but they didn't they made it to be about ethics. What's next for ethics... bear and lion hunting with dogs? Traditional archery?...according to post above hunting Africa isn't ethical either.

The africa comment makes me laugh.. cause Cam Hanes has been to Africa to hunt and yet he was sitting right there according to her quote..Ive seen him say he is still behind UA because they loved Roy too..Either way this whole thing is silly to me. I mean the way the world seems today if they would have just kept there mouths shut for a few weeks the world would have forgotten about it and moved on to the next hot topic they can have a knee jerk reaction on.

I was talking to a friend in South Carolina and he was telling me how people are having UA burning parties to burn there gear and so forth, a little extreme but i get it, people (hunters) feel betrayed. I feel betrayed, granted i dont care for their gear and dont support them because of that.

Im not saying the guy was in the right though. I am not a big fan of show boating and i think that Bowmar could have had more respect for the bear. But spearing a bear on the ground... guys got me beat, not sure i got the male fortitude for that. Ive been false charged several times by bears and prefer to stay out of their path.
