Apparently my lot of n120 got wet as the ol smoke poles are just shooting 15 feet and dropping.

I've tested a number of different model tubes and found that Lane's will not leak moisture. I weighted the tubes, placed common household flour in them. I then let them stay submerged for over 24hrs in water. Lane's never leaked. I can't say that about others I tested.

Been very happy with these.

I see zero reason to worry about the “waterproofness” of a screw top tube unless you plan to scuba dive with them….🤣

Moisture can and will get into some vials, as apparently you already found out.

You can long term store any propellant in Lane's and there will be no moisture inside. Even if you do scuba dive.
If you don't have the money or time to do it right the first time, where will you get the money or time to do it over?
Lane's come in the 5ml and also the 10ml. The 10ml work excellent for heavier charges of either SML or substitutes. Also different color caps. I use different color caps for different propellants.

Medical blood tubes without coagulant/anticoagulant. If body fluids can’t get out, I don’t see moisture getting in. I even pull a slight vacuum on them to reduce any humidity in the vial. Yes, I would have no problems scuba diving with them. I just don’t dive currently

Money isn't an issue.
I had the screw top tubes I am unsure were it picked up moisture but two different muzzeloaders that we shot it out of this weekend both went poof.

What primer where you using, and what ignition system are you using.
CCI 209 Mag, woodman arms. Never had a failure to fire with 2015 but the n120 was pretty consistent in the warm weather, was 5 degrees and failed to fire pretty consistently.

The only FtFs I’ve ever had with SMLs were a loose bullet. What bullet are you using?? Using a wad under the bullet?

No wad, harvester smooth high pressure sabot, 160 cutting edge. shot 20 of them at the range without a single fail to fire in warm weather.
