It would be nice to see the process standardized across all 50 states. some jurisdictions stop receiving ballots on Election Day, others accept post marked ballots up to a week after. Some people voted over a month ago. Ridiculous.

Sounds like you want the federal government to control elections instead of states governments.

It would certainly be an interesting experiment to have an election the way it is done now and then hold that same election a few weeks later done by in person voting.
