I've been pretty happy with the Ulanzi U-190 head for heavier optics. It handles my heavy Kowa 883 very well. I haven't heard of enough guys using them to know if I just got lucky with a good one or if they are all this good but I feel like it would be hard to beat for the price. $40 on Amazon.

Thanks for posting this deal. Mine just arrived and I am very happy with it.
I've been out of town, and didn't get to see mine till last night. Also super happy with it. Calling coyotes and using it to film today. I'll put some binos on it next week.

Hope it works well for everyone else

Just got mine today along with the Slik ball head. Sure seems sturdy enough to shoot off of to me. Weighs 3.5 lbs with ball head
