SLIK CF 522 head

Is the head on the SLIK CF 522 good to go as is or do I have to add an aftermarket head to make it serviceable.

I'll be using a spotting scope on it.

It's great for a point and shoot camera, camcorder or maybe bino's. Other than that you'll need a good pan head.
