I have a Slik pro 624cf that I bought a while ago based on the recommendations of the guys at S&S archery. It is intended to be used as a lighter weight option over my outdoorsman’s standard and I will be using a Tricer Lp head on it. I haven’t been able to use it on a hunt yet but now I’m wondering if the Tricer AD tripod might be a better option with the thicker inverted legs for possibly more stability. The Tricers are on sale right now so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with both and if you thought it would be worth snagging a Tricer AD for $279ish over the Slik 624?
I have a few good tags this year so I want to make sure my set up is as advantageous as it can be. I plan on getting a Kowa 77 or maby the 66s as an upgraded spotter. I also have the Vortex 12x50 UHD binos that I will be using quite a bit. Any info is appreciated thanks!
