Is there a Swarovski binocular called that?
I know of SLC and Habicht.
I preferred the view through 15x56 Conquest HD over 15x56 SLC.
But, like the build/rubber covering on the SLC. As well as adjustment wheel... much more grippy.
I own a 8x56 SLC Neu now.. but am considering selling it.
Had a 10x40 Habicht for a week, but returned. Just didn't get along.
Now, my eyes dont seem to prefer Swarovski binoculars or riflescopes in general.
I do not know what it is, they just seem less vivid or color correct.
This has to be my eyes, because I prefer the view from Nikon and Meopta binoculars.
And S&B and Kahles riflescopes.
So, view better in Conquest HD, binocular body and adjustment wheel better on Swarovski SLC.
But try for yourself.
Most will prefer the Swarovski, but the Conquest is certainly comparable. Either would be an excellent choice. The Conquest will likely be cheaper. Keep in mind the SLC series is discontinued, so you may have to look for a used example.
The Conquests are really hard to beat for the money. Optics wise the Conquests probably sit between the HD SLC's and WB's. All three are very decent glass even in today's market.
