No real updates. I haven't done any glassing sessions beyond my 10-15 min daily looks in the yard and mountains. I'm rotating between my SRBC 12x50, SRBC 6x32, and Sig Zulu6 16x42 when I do my morning and evening scans, because it's fun to compare them back to back. Switching between the three really brings the relatively poor resolution of the 16x42 and small FOV to light.
Not real field use, but I was looking through the 12's last week, focused on low ridge about two miles from the house, and because of the large FOV, I spotted a coyote crossing the road a couple blocks away on the bottom edge of the FOV. Had I been looking through the Sigs, I absolutely would have missed it. Easy to translate that anecdote to the field, but I'm preaching to the choir with most folks here recognizing the value of FOV.
The pair direct from China took just over a week to arrive from when I ordered them. The pair from Astronomics took about a week.
