I received the SKRE hard Scrabble pants and jacket as well as the Kaibab 150 merino wool top. I got to first try it out on a early season high country mule deer hunt . We had quite a bit of rain on the hunt as well as cool temperatures for early season. All 3 items kept me comfortable when wet and dried quickly. A couple features that stood out to me was the camo pattern I really liked it for the high country especially high sage which I often hunt. They seam too be tough and are flexible . To me they are mid season gear but I think they will work in all seasons. The side zippers are nice . When I got warm hiking opening the zippers made a definite difference. So far I like this set more them I thought i would. The Kaibab is perfect . Wicks away great and very comfortable I wore it 4 days and night strait and feels as good as any Merino tops i have used. I will continue to update on these.

How is the sizing on the kaibab? I haven’t had one in a few years and they ran small back then.

I got to try the hard Scrabble out on my daughter's cold elk hunt. They did well as well as the Kaibab 150 merino wool top kept me dry when sweating packing the elk out. Also on a super steep hike in very cold windy conditions, it wicked the sweat away so I didn't freeze my butt off on top.
