I recently purchased a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40 (1 inch) 450 Bushmaster Duplex Reticle Riflescope and am planning to install it on a H&R 45-70 Buffalo Classic GOVT.
Looking for feedback if anyone has this particular scope on a 45-70 and if the recoil affects the setpoint if it is zeroed out at 100 yards?
I made the purchase before realizing the Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40 (1 inch) 450 Bushmaster is custom dial system for a .450 Bushmaster cartridge so will this have a major affect shooting Winchester 300 grain hollow points?
