Skin glue - school me?

It will work the best after the cut is done bleeding. If you have someone with you to help push the skin edges together while you glue it will result in a better scar. Use a thin layer and let dry before adding another layer. Tape or something else over top if possible will keep from pulling apart.

If you can’t get it super clean before gluing it will likely get infected. Probably not terrible but bacteria gets trapped under the glue. If it starts to get red around it or drains get abx

Dermabond is definitely my number one choice, but small bottles of superglue gel are in every pack and toiletry kit I own. My wife now buys me the bulk pack of superglue before every hunting season
