I just got off my spin bike. Cardio is a thing, and most would do well to lose 20 pounds of fat off their ass instead of spending big bucks to shave ounces off their pack.

I believe it. I had less body fat and weighed more in the Marines than I weight now.

Hit 'em all out to 600 after obstacles and run





Shooting from uncomfortable positions builds character. Doing it while being heckeled builds more.

I thought I was a decent shooter till I went to my first PRS match and only got 6 out of 60.
Only having 1 shot at each target is hard.
Going to Geissele gas gun match was the best $300 and 6 hour one way drive

Yeah, even just shooting a high-power match is good. Anything that gets you shooting while uncomfortable is going to help you shoot better while hunting.

I've gotten a lot of grief on another site saying people should compete. But, IMO, you need to use your stuff hard to find what works.

I plan on using my Ruger American Ranch at that same match in NE next year instead of my competition AR. I plan on shooting the crap out of that rifle this year, and I'll do my run as "super Fudd" wearing an orange vest.

Living in a mountain town it always interesting to see so many guys who wear kuiu solids as their every day clothes, who spend less that 5 days a year hunting, never shoot and dont work out.

About the only time I can find anything cheaper, is when I can save on shipping by going to a local box store, when I find they've got the best price online, which isn't usually the case. The only exception to this is powder, primer, and sometimes bullets - saving on both shipping and hazmat fees by going to a local big box store (especially if they price-match), is almost always the cheapest by the time all the total costs are calculated.
